California State Bar permits virtual law practice provided "all ethical obligations are met."

Just published State Bar Formal Opinion provides the ethical framework for the delivery of virtual legal services in California.  In anticipation of this important decision and the growing use of internet based legal services, LMIC will be presenting a series of online seminars by nationally recognized authority Stephanie Kimbro.  Notably, Ms. Kimbro's work is referenced on the first page of the Opinion.  These cutting edge online seminars will be complimentary and available for all of our members this October.  In the meantime, if you are providing virtual legal services, make sure you are in compliance with this Opinion.

Your Board of Directors has voted to issue an 8% dividend to all LMIC policyholders of record as of November 1, 2012.  The dividend will be based on the premium paid by the policyholder on a one year policy with an effective date between November 1, 2010 to October 31, 2011.
